African Adventure (19 images)

Year 5 and 6 had an amazing time at Sizewell Hall learning about some of challenges of life in Africa. They enjoyed lots of team-building exercises, archery, low-rope challenges, and staying overnight in an African-style village.

STEM Fair (10 images)

Wilby Primary School's Mr Haynes organised an amazing Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths Fair for Wilby, four Primary schools and three local secondary schools. All sorts of people, including mad Science, Suffolk Wildlife Trust and Geosuffolk joined them to create an amazing hands on day for everyone.

On Friday the 31st of March Year 6 visited London for the day. We had an amazing day. High lights included a guided tour around the Houses of Parliament, visiting 10 Downing Street, A lecture on Space, followed by a 3d IMAX film on Space and a tour of many of the main sights of London including Horse Guard's Parade, Buckingham palace and Trafalgar Square

Foxearth Nursing Home (4 images)

On June the 14th the Brass group performed at Foxearth Nursing Home as part of their Macmillan Coffee Morning. They sounded brilliant!

On Sunday 4th December pupils form Wilby School took part in an amazing Everlasting Light Concert to raise money for Action Aid.

Year 5 and 6 Dunwich visit (7 images)

As part of their topic on coastal erosion Owl Class visited Dunwich beach, museum and monastery. They had a fantastic day!

Victorian days September and October 2016 (8 images)

Wilby School had two fabulous days out at The Museum of East Anglian Life and Gressenhall workhouse and museum. Then in October we staged our own Victorian day in school. It was brilliant!

Superb scarecrows!! (6 images)

Our summer term homework challenge was to create a scarecrow to enter into the Wilby Village Fair Scarecrow competition. The children's creations were amazing!

Visit of Bishop Mike (7 images)

On May 16th we were visited by Bishop Mike. He told us lots about being a Bishop and explained the religious significance of his clothes and jewellery. Lucky Sammy got to try it all on!

Quiet Garden Development 2017 (13 images)

Sing your Heart Out Fundraising Event (3 images)

On Monday 13th march Wilby School Pupils were joined by Local choir 'Hoxne Village voices' and singers Rhianna Roughton and Ella Miles and even a staff and Governors choir to take part in a singing event to raise funds for the Royal voluntary Service. We raised over 400 !

World Book Day March 2017 (3 images)

This year our focus was on Asian texts and culture. As part of this we invited Jaya Dance into school to teach us some Bhangra Dancing

Our African links (3 images)

This term we launched our link with Mogonjet Primary School in Kenya-we have written to each other and compared our school days. Next term we will be fundraising to buy our new friends school equipment.
