Accessibility Plan
Wilby CE Primary School demonstrates strong inclusive practice by ensuring that all pupils, including those with disabilities, can participate fully in school life. Trips are carefully planned to be accessible to every child, ensuring no pupil is excluded from enriching learning experiences outside the classroom. After-school clubs are open to all pupils and are reviewed annually to reflect the needs and interests of the current cohorts, which supports broad access and engagement. Teaching follows the Tilian TEACH model, which underpins the belief that every teacher is a teacher of pupils with special educational needs (SEN). This inclusive approach aligns with the school’s Christian values and vision of "Leaving no one behind," reinforcing high expectations and tailored support for all pupils to access the curriculum effectively. OFSTED feedback highlights the strength in the curriculum for pupils with SEND and disadvantaged pupils, with additional finely tuned interventions and pre-teaching to ensure understanding, further supporting full participation.
