Wilby CE Primary School has 13 pre-school places available for children aged 3 and 4 years old for up to 30 hours a week.

We are a warm and caring Pre-school which provides extensive outdoor learning opportunities including Woodland School Learning and exciting curriculum experiences.

The Pre-School offers 10 sessions each week from Monday to Friday. Each day there are two sessions:

Morning: 8.45am-11.45am

Afternoon: 11.45am-3.15pm

Children can bring their own packed lunch if they are attending an afternoon session or staying all day. Alternatively a lunch can be purchased at an additional cost of £2.50 per child.

Each child is entitled to 15 hours free Pre-school education. Some 3 year olds will also be eligible for an additional 15 hours free funding. Please refer to the government HMRC website for further details.

Admission for 2 year olds: The school may also consider applications for earlier admission into pre-school in the term before a child is officially due to begin. This will be assessed on an individual basis and will be subject to a trial period.

Your child may be entitled to free early education but if not you will be able to pay for additional pre-school sessions at £12 per session.

Application forms for Pre-school are available via the school office.
